This story was published Tuesday November 28th 2006 By the Herald staff The Eastern Washington Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers has announced its award winners for 2006. They include: * Rampur Viswanath of CH2M Hill Hanford Group, President's Award. * CH2M Hill Hanford Group's Bulk Vitrification System Project, Hazardous Material Identification and Control Research Award. * Fluor Hanford's Plutonium Finishing Plant project, Excellence in Hazardous Materials Management. * Andrea Hopkins of Fluor Hanford and Harold Tilden of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Hazardous Materials Managers of the Year. * Roni Swan of EnergySolutions, Outstanding Service to the Eastern Washington Chapter. * Chuck Mulkey of Washington Group International, Meritorius Achievement to the Eastern Washington Chapter. Winners will be recognized at the chapter's holiday banquet and awards ceremony, 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Courtyard by Marriott, Richland.
