EnergySolutions buys first British company

EnergySolutions has purchased its first United Kingdom company, Safeguard International Solutions.

Safeguard International Solutions provides recycling and disposal services for radioactive waste.

EnergySolutions includes the former Duratek and BNG America operations and their contracts at the Hanford nuclear reservation.
