This story was published Thursday November 3rd 2005 By the Herald staff IsoRay Medical Inc. will open a new Richland facility today to expand its production of cancer-treating Cesium-131 isotope seeds, the company reported. The 4,000-square-foot facility leased from Pacific EcoSolutions will allow IsoRay to make up to 60,000 radioactive seeds per month, a tenfold increase over current capacity, the company reported. IsoRay plans to keep its administrative offices in Richland, the company reported. |
