This story was published Sunday November 20th 2005 By the Herald staff Frank Armijo, general manager for Lockheed Martin Information Technology in Richland, has received the company's NOVA Award for leadership. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the corporation. Armijo was named to his current position in 2002 and under his leadership, key projects, programs and staffing and the Richland facility have increased more than 20 percent. In partnership with Hanford contractors, Armijo has led Lockheed Martin Information Technology in developing and integrating key technology solutions in support of accelerated cleanup at Hanford. Armijo is past president of the Tri-Cities Economic Development Council and is vice chairman of TRIDEC's higher education committee. |
