This story was published Tuesday December 7th 2004 By the Herald staff Don Bradley of Richland has been chosen to lead the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Coastal Security Institute in Sequim. Bradley's new assignment comes after serving as field intelligence element director for the lab and managing the international technology assessments group. He has represented the United States at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna and was a leading authority for the country on radioactive waste management in the former Soviet Union. The Coastal Security Institute deals with issues of intelligence analysis, homeland security, national defense and global security. Bradley has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Washington State University and a master's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Washington. He has moved to Sequim. |
